NextGear Capital is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst whose primary role will be supporting the Lending group, specifically regarding pricing. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be involved in company pricing strategy and implementation. The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a role is setting, maintaining and reporting on company pricing standards to ensure alignment with financial targets of the organization. This role will also perform financial modeling of company initiatives, monthly financial reporting and analysis, as well as additional reporting and analysis for the Lending group.

Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of financial modeling, financial statements, variance analysis, and reporting key business drivers. Candidates must have the ability to operate and work across functional groups in a matrixed organization. In addition, the candidate must be able to effectively communicate financial results and analysis outputs to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.

PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Work closely with Finance and other business leaders on pricing strategies and initiatives from initial development through postmortem analysis
  • Manage and update company pricing standards
  • Create, rebuild, audit, test, distribute and track financial models, reports and dashboards
  • Evaluate business performance by developing reporting tools to ensure the company achieves desired results from key business decisions and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain Lending reporting to provide leaders with key insights
  • Analyze financial results and present to Finance leaders
  • Complete special projects and prepare ad hoc analysis and reports as needed

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in related field and 5 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with focus on data analysis, financial planning/analysis or business case modeling
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
  • Solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills demonstrating a consistent attention to detail; solid organization and workflow skills
  • Highly motivated with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to flex to perform ad hoc analysis
