We are seeking an Executive Talent Sourcer who will take partner with the Cox Corporate Executive Search Team in building and developing a diverse talent pipeline. The ideal candidate will have experience working with passive candidates in a competitive market and be strategic in generating high quality candidate pipelines. The chosen candidate will act as sourcing subject matter expert and deliver diversity talent market insights back to peers and business team partners to drive knowledgeable sourcing strategy decisions. They will also work closely with business teams to ensure recruiting processes are effective and efficient and provide a positive candidate experience. The Executive Talent Sourcer will collaborate with the recruiting team in defining, launching, analyzing, and iterating on innovative diversity sourcing strategies. They will also build diverse talent pools through trusted relationships with networks, organizations, and resource groups. The ideal candidate will be metrics driven, process focused, strong collaborator with people, and have demonstrated experience in sourcing.

The individual we seek will be responsible for diversity recruiting, re-active and proactive recruiting and outreach, event attendance, executive referrals, and ensuring sourcing support on specifically assigned openings. The Executive Talent Sourcer will employ best-in-class candidate identification techniques to include both public data mining, internal database search and management, association and personal networking. In addition, the Executive Talent Sourcer will:

  • Partner within TA to develop and implement short- and long-term recruiting objectives and strategies to identify and recruit diverse talent that represent our communities.
  • Partner with internal hiring managers and executive recruiters to understand the role requirements, candidate profile and define the candidate identification strategy for each position.
  • Continually grow a pipeline of qualified diverse candidates through constant networking, mining, and managing of candidates and referrals; analyze results and adapt strategy accordingly.
  • Clearly articulate and promote the Cox brand when engaging and partnering with local and national organizations, create and sustain relationships with alumni associations, professional associations, diversity organizations, individuals, and community organizations resulting in brand awareness regarding opportunities and careers with the organization.
  • Leverage and partner with both internal and external stakeholders to build a diverse candidate pipeline for targeted roles.
  • Analyze recruiting data and trends to understand the business landscape and build recruitment strategies & solutions.
  • Utilize resources to proactively identify trends and opportunities related to the competitive landscape and/or market intelligence.
  • Provide an initial screen of a candidates knowledge, skills, & abilities.
  • Actively track and manage candidate pipelines through the CRM system.
  • Facilitate weekly sourcing calls to provide search updates, drive searches forward, present market research, and share actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Create talent maps across specific functions as assigned.
  • Manage Knowledge Management SharePoint site sharing candidate, industry, and company information with team.
  • Develop pipelines by identifying and leveraging sources of niche talent.
  • Partner closely with recruiting leaders to develop strategies to reinforce diversity recruiting.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree, or related equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of experience including 3+ years in executive talent sourcing experience in a corporate environment or within executive search firms with proven success in utilizing a range of direct sourcing tools and methods
  • Diversity sourcing experience is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute creative and complex executive sourcing solutions to help the customer achieve hiring objectives
  • Proven ability to build partnerships across various teams, work in a collaborative manner, and develop strong working relationships
  • Experience working successfully within a matrixed organization
  • Experience working with an ATS system required, Taleo preferred
  • Experience working in a CRM preferred
  • AIRS certifications preferred
  • Strategic and analytical thinker; excellent skills in analyzing data and reporting trends
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be a courageous communicator and continuously champion a fair and equitable hiring process
