The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Our guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.

Within Operations, our Enterprise Wire Services team processes voice initiated wire requests, outgoing and incoming exception items from all wire channels, transfers on behalf of our Global Financial Institution customers, and a variety of risk-related functions.  As a combined organization, Enterprise Wire Services supports the processing of 66 million transactions annually. 

The Business and Production Support Services team within Enterprise Wire Services is seeking a dynamic Business Support Consultant 3 to join its Business Initiatives team. This individual contributor will lead strategy, road-mapping, and coordination and implementation of complex work including liaising with Technology, Product, Senior and Executive leadership, Operations Change and Incident Management, and others.

This role will also be responsible for managing project Implementation, and timelines for Enterprise Wire Services (EWS). This team member will also provide technical subject matter expertise to partners inside and outside of EWS including project leadership teams and various senior-level stakeholders.

The successful candidate will partner with the Line of Business, Risk/Compliance, and technology partners across Operations to create and execute initiatives that align with business goals including driving continuous process improvements that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our operation.  This role will be required to assess the impact of change initiatives, emerging issues, and execution of new business strategies and support those for their line of business partners. The operational responsibilities of this role require skill and experience in leading teams with complex technical functions, performing at expected levels and meeting internal and external service commitments. The candidate must possess strong interpersonal, collaboration, partnering and communication skills. This position will also be expected to develop effective partnerships within the line of business and technical partners and foster an environment that results in highly energized and engaged teams.

Locations: The preferred locations are Charlotte, NC, Portland, OR, Philadelphia, PA, and Golden, CO; however, will consider other locations within the WF footprint.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning
