The Research/Remediation Associate with the Wells Fargo Auto Finance Business Excellence team is responsible for researching indirect auto contracts and mitigating risk of third party products and services.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Performs intake to determine appropriate course of action
  • Conducting investigative steps to fully identify issues
  • Researching product information, terms, conditions, contracts, etc.
  • Creating correspondence as needed
  • Processing complex and/or corrective transactions on-line (including monetary and non-monetary actions)
  • May communicate with others (including internal business partners and third parties) to ensure resolution of matters
  • Ensures identified risks and/or problems are clearly documented

The successful candidate must be available to work any shift during the department's hours of operation: Monday through Friday, from 7am to 8pm. Schedules will be set as need is determined.



Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of customer contact experience in a financial services environment; or 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: financial services operations, underwriting, quality assurance, or military; or an AA/AS degree or higher



Desired Qualifications

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
  • Risk management and mitigation experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to provide strong customer service and develop customer relationships
  • Auto finance experience



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Aftermarket Product Knowledge a plus
  • Auto Loan Originations Experience a plus


Job Expectations

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
