This Sr. Application Systems Engineer 5 - .Net full stack developer role within Wells Fargo Technology specifically provides technical leadership for enhancement and maintenance development scope for the Doc Broker application which enables new account disclosure and agreement packages to be sent to Wells Fargo Advisor clients.  Specifically, this position supports the critical regulatory space of client disclosures and electronic signature capabilities related to Brokerage new account disclosures.  An understanding of the client experience related to new account packages and signatures, plus front and back office experiences and needs is required to be successful.  This position supports a quarterly production release schedule and needs to be familiar with release management principles. This application area fully adheres to Wells Fargo SDLC standards and rigorous secure software development practices. In addition, this role supports stringent audit and reconciliation processes related to client disclosures to provide transparency that the correct disclosures are sent to the Wells Fargo client.  A successful candidate must be able to partner with analysts, architects and other IT teams to assess highly complex business requirements and develop technical designs which meet the requirements while reducing technology maintenance, scale to accommodate all WFA Sales Channels, and maximize opportunities for configuration.  A familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture is required.  The ability to successfully delegate, coordinate and communicate to offshore development staff is required.  This position must provide leadership to less experienced staff to accommodate and adhere to WF Technology Remediation Program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 5+ years of .net experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience developing, supporting or integrating messaging technology such as Solace, Tibco or MQ
  • Knowledge and understanding of Fortify Code Analyzer
  • Splunk experience
  • SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships
  • Experience operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
  • Systems vulnerability management experience
  • Information Security Frameworks and standards (FFIEC, NIST, ISO) experience
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
  • SQL experience

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Subject matter expertise with the brokerage new account opening function and regulatory client disclosure exposure
  • Experience collaborating with offshore team members during regular and off-hours as needed
  • Experience supporting quarterly production releases

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
