Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.

The resource will be an individual contributor who partners with Wells Fargo Technology (WFT) business partners, policy owners, and Independent Risk Management partners to address and support WFT's ongoing adherence to Information Security and Technology policies. Additionally, candidate may be accountable for conducting assessments and gathering evidence to demonstrate adequacy of risk management practices associated with policy adherence.  Resource may also perform ongoing analysis, perform monitoring/assessment activities, and produce actionable reporting that can be used to clearly articulate degrees of adherence and highlight required remediation.  Must have strong hands-on background that includes evaluation of processes, controls, tools, applications, and related evidence associated with the management of technology and/or information security risk. 



Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
  • 6+ years of information security risk management program experience with at least 3 of those years of experience within technology

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Customer service focus with the ability to respond to requests in a timely manner

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems with data analysis
  • Advanced Information Security and/or IT technical skills and solid knowledge and understanding of information security
