Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.

The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

This position will support space management across a geography of Corporate Risk locations with the goal of optimizing space based on individual LOB’s business needs and the Corporate Property Group’s Workplace program.  Collaborating with internal stakeholders, influencing change, and implementing accepted processes and polices will be critical to the success of this role and the overall space management effort.  In addition, the work completed by the successful candidate and the broader team will have visibility with senior executives within the organization.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead change management efforts to influence adherence to Space Management processes and policies, as well as enterprise Workplace standards.
  • Provide value-added guidance and assistance for both LOB and CPG sponsored property and space requests/projects, including managing exception requests.
  • Develop key relationships and effective partnerships with CPG, Finance, EIT, and the LOBs.
  • Facilitate cross functional working group meetings to evaluate premises opportunities and make optimal recommendations with a focus on maintaining occupancy expenses.
  • Participate in creation and presentation of business case proposals for projects requiring significant capital commitment and Executive Management approval.
  • Maintain premises pipeline tracking reports ensuring activities are addressed in a prioritized and timely manner. 
  • Track key metrics and occupancy expense impacts for all approved premises activities.
  • Contribute to enterprise wide work streams that involve strategic premises optimization.

As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support management, project management, business operations or strategic planning in financial services
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications

  • SAP application exposure; preferably within Wells Fargo's Corporate Properties Group
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution
  • A Master's degree or higher
  • Experience consulting, influencing and partnering with business executives, leadership, human resources partners and peers

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

CA-SF-Financial District: Min: $93,700 Mid: $132,000
AZ-PHX-Central Phoenix: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
OR-Portland: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
