Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The Loss Forecasting and Basel Production team seeks an experienced credit portfolio consultant to be responsible for supporting a robust documentation, control, and monitoring infrastructure for the inventory of qualitative models used by the Home Lending production submission processes. This includes establishing and implementing a performance monitoring program and working with control teams to build a control framework. The monitoring documentation will include validation process and results, documenting data sources, peer reviews and approvals on programming logic changes and periodic review to ensure the monitoring contents stay current and meet the internal model support requirements and regulatory requirements where applicable. The individual will closely partner with model governance, Corporate Functional Model Oversight (CFMO), and Credit and PPNR Modeling (CaPM) teams. In addition, this role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with EUCT policy and the maintenance of G&O documentation.

The qualified candidate will have responsibility of:

  • Take a leading role in achieving results that meet business partner, regulatory and risk needs.
  • Communicate emerging issues and analytical findings to Senior Management, business partners.
  • Identify process improvement areas, enhance process control via monitoring program development and implementation.
  • Assisting documentation efforts required to comply with standards of end-user computing tool (EUCT) and qualitative model governance processes.
  • Prioritize multiple initiatives and initiate work efforts in an independent manner; manage projects and outline process steps for successful completion.
  • Continuously evaluate policy to ensure compliance.


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of risk experience
