Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. CMS provides the best in class mortgage servicing for a variety of third party customers and stakeholders, including Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS), Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS), US Government-Sponsored Entities (GSE), US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Interim Lenders, Specialized Warehouse Lenders, and Secondary-Market Lenders. CMS also provides loan and portfolio level asset management for SRE/Real Estate Capital markets (RECM) balance sheet loans and loan and facility level asset management for Commercial Mortgage Loan Finance (CMLF). Services include: payment and escrow processing, cash and treasury management, asset management and surveillance - loan covenants, borrower consent requests, and investor reporting and collateral administration.

The Specialized Cash Management team is a specialized group of real estate professionals that focus on Cash Management/Treasury Sales for real estate Owner Operators and real estate Borrowers, Lenders, Originators, and Servicers.

The CMS Client Manager 4 on this team will develop and maintain client relationships with the most senior level critical/complex clients and generate revenue for the Specialized Cash Management Team.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Originating, structuring and executing transactions related to Servicing and/or Cash Management agreements while managing expectation of loan originators and servicers both external and internal
  • Servicing of accounts to include cash management and treasury products
  • Servicing of accounts associated with Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS)
  • Reviewing and negotiating legal documentation, and credit/risk management
  • Meeting with clients on a regular basis to conduct annual review of pricing, risk, strategy, and relationship enhancement

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.



Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relationship management experience



Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 2+ years of commercial real estate experience
  • 2+ years of treasury management experience
  • 5+ years of customer service experience
  • Financial accounting experience
  • Ability to provide strong customer service while listening, eliciting information, and comprehending customer issues
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Real Estate Loan servicing experience
  • Knowledge of Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) including Deposit Account Control Agreements (DACA’s), Cash Management Agreements (CMA’s), and waterfall management.
