Position Summary:

The E-Procurement Specialist is responsible for the enablement and ongoing management of assigned suppliers onto AutoNation’s E-Procurement platform. This person serves as the supplier’s main point of contact throughout the enablement process.

Organizational Relationships:

Interacts with internal and external customers at various levels.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze vendor master and transactional activity to identify key supplier partners to enable in e-procurement application
  2. Develop e-procurement rollout strategy to maximize ROI
  3. Engage suppliers to adopt the e-procurement process
  4. Conduct kick-off and ongoing meetings with suppliers to identify e-procurement enablement strategy
  5. Setup and maintain suppliers in preferred e-procurement system
  6. Perform end-to-end testing of all aspects of a supplier integration
  7. Work with internal and external customers in streamlining supplier implementation plans that promote transaction automation
  8. Project management of all supplier enablement dependencies by other teams
  9. Reinforce program adherence with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  10. Perform periodic analysis of supply base for additional enablement opportunities
  11. Provide on-going e-procurement support to customer and supplier
  12. Create and maintain training material and guides for internal and external users
  13. Prepare and present project deliverable to the appropriate management for project review throughout the development life cycle
  14. Must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and be able to meet deadlines while effectively managing priorities
  15. Coordinate execution of vision while working with multiple internal and external constituents
  16. Perform other duties as assigned

  1. Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Technology, Information Systems, Finance, or related, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  2. 3+ years’ experience on E-Procurement platform such as Ariba, Concur, Coupa, SAP-SRM
  3. Understanding of technical integration standards.


  1. Experience in a client facing role (BPO or consulting).
  2. Experience in Automotive Industry (preferred)
  3. Experience supporting programs related to change management initiatives (preferred).
