Position Purpose:

The main goal of the Senior Marketing Manager is to develop, establish and maintain Marketing strategies and tactics to meet organizational and customer specific objectives. The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the ownership and performance of all Marketing activity at both program and campaign level across the Americas territory as it pertains to both direct (prospect/customer) and indirect (alliances/partners) channels.

Support the ongoing development of overall go-to-market strategy, ensuring its effective delivery in market.

Ensure the Sales team have the knowledge of the target market, market dynamics, product/service messaging and competitive differentiators to optimze every interaction with target audiences.

Manage expectations and coordinate activities within the Marketing team and with external stakeholders.

Identify, measure and report on the performance of all Marketing activity with an emphasis on continually improving its effectiveness. Ensure regular updates are provided to stakeholders.

Act as primary day-to-day liaison with non-Marketing departments including (but not limited to): Sales, Operations, IT and Product Development.

Manage program and campaign spend based upon the annual strategic plan and overall departmental budget.

Act as brand guardian, ensuring corporate brand and operational guidelines are adhered to across all channels.

Key Job Activities:

Implementation and refinement of the annual marketing strategy

Work collaboratively with the Global Marketing Director and other stakeholders to understand market requirements and dynamics and set/manage expectations.

Work collaboratively with the Global Marketing Director and other stakeholders to develop, implement and manage communication strategies that help deliver business growth through acquisition, retention and referral. These will include (but are not limited to):

A prospect lead generation engine underpinned by a thought-leadership program that aligns by both audience vertical and function.

A focussed outreach program to penetrate and engage top tier prospect accounts across industry and function.

A highly targeted account-based marketing program to penetrate and engage a select number of target accounts per vertical.

A framework of vertically-aligned initiatives to progressively nurture leads through constituent funnel stages to 'close'.

Indirect engagement/referral programs with a select number of alliance partners.

Track, monitor and analyse attribution across all Marketing touchpoints. Decipher and leverage meaningful insights to help optimize programs ongoing. Ensure insights are shared regularly with key stakeholders.

Manage third party vendor relationships, build best practices and utilize third party capabilities (cost effectively) to their fullest extent.

Through ongoing research, drive a culture of innovative thinking across the Marketing function by sharing knowledge and expertise with the team.

Grow and maintain relationships with the US Sales team, acting as their primary day-to-day liaison in Marketing.

Over time, support the Global Marketing Director in building a high-performing US Marketing team comprising both direct and virtual team members.

Education:
Required Education: in Bachelors or Equivalent
Experience (North America & LATAM):

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or other related field.

Six or more years of B2B marketing/communications experience including building, planning and executing go-to-market plans including brand management and service/product launches.

Four or more years in an indirect leadership role or a role requiring indirect influence.

Four or more years vendor management including Agencies (digital, integrated, PR etc.)

Three or more years nurturing, guiding and managing a team of high-performing individuals in a professional environment.

Strong analytical and project/campaign management skills.

Excellent organizational and planning skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrates expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience navigating within a CRM system beneficial (HubSpot preferred).
