Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Human Resources Benefits Specialist for a full-time position in our Vienna, VA office. This role is ideal for someone who is very driven, strategic, passionate, and detail oriented. We are looking for the right cultural fit and are open to a wide range of experience levels for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide partnership and HR support to our most important asset: our people.
  • Deliver general benefits administration and invoice reconciliation.
  • Serve as the primary contact for benefits-related questions and troubleshoot employee issues, respond accurately to benefit inquiries on plan provisions, enrollment, status changes, and other general inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update benefit documents to include forms, checklists, new hire documents, enrollment materials and administration and tracking of all employee leaves of absence (STD, FMLA, Military Leave).
  • Collaborate on benefit projects and cross-functional HR initiatives as needed, including implementation and maintenance of HRIS system, wellness initiatives, annual open enrollment, benefits compliance matters and reporting to include -OSHA, ACA, EEO, VETS, Form 5500.
  • Uphold knowledge of the major benefits programs, including medical, dental, life, disability, employee assistance program, paid time off (PTO), 401k. This includes knowledge of industry trends, plan terms and legal language, and best practices.
  • Utilize our HRIS and SharePoint systems to create and maintain employee records.
  • New Hire Onboarding as needed.

Job Requirementstop

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. (GPA 3.7 or higher is highly desirable.)
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is highly desirable.
  • Previous Benefits work experience must include benefits administration and compliance
  • Experience reviewing vendor invoices, resolving disputes, and reporting on fees and costs
  • Experience working with medical, dental, vision and supplemental insurance carriers.
  • Experience managing monthly benefit enrollment of new hires and annual benefits enrollment
  • Collaborate in the analysis and evolution of Credence's benefits
  • Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft products- Word, Excel and SharePoint and the ability to learn other systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment
  • Enthusiastic and engaged personality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
