Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager with Item Unique Identification specialization at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH to provide subject matter expertise/knowledge of, and technical experience in, acquisition logistics and shall assist the Government in the day-to-day management of the twelve product support/integrated logistics support elements:  Supply Support, Technical Data and Technical Data Management, Maintenance Planning & Management, Product Support Management, Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation, Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Computer Resources, Facilities & Infrastructure, Manpower & Personnel, Support Equipment,  and/or Training & Training Support

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Assist with developing and providing training, guidance, logistics support, tools and Center-level processes to enable standardization of key product support procedures across AFLCMC and to assist program offices in the execution of product support tasks.
  • Assist with providing training, to include developing training documentation, and providing on-site and/or virtual training to program offices.
  • Perform control activities that include but are not limited to: schedule monitoring, progress monitoring, fielding questions, and risk management.
  • Assist with developing tools and Center-level processes to enable standardization of key product support procedures across AFLCMC and to assist program offices in the execution of product support tasks. Tools include guides, standards/specifications, contract languages, models, templates and metrics to assess the health of the product support within the Center.
  • Provide program office outreach support by responding to questions, conducting research, and assisting program and staff offices to execute product support activities, which may involve coordination and engagement with Office of the Secretary of Defense, Defense Agencies, Headquarters of the Air Force/Secretary of the Air Force, Major Commands, AFMC Centers, and AFLCMC program offices. Program Office outreach support tasks may also include, but are not limited to, participating in staff assistance/site visits, conducting informational briefings, facilitating meetings and coordinating task activities in support of program or staff offices upon Government request.
  • Provide Item Unique Identification (IUID) Part Marking Implementation Support
  • IUID is the set of data for tangible assets that is globally unique and unambiguous, ensures data integrity and data quality throughout the life cycle, and supports multi-faceted business applications and users. IUID provides the opportunity to differentiate an individual item from all others throughout the DoD supply chain, commencing with acquisition and terminating with disposal or reutilization.
  • Provide comprehensive support of IUID marking of AF tangible assets and property by Class of Supply to include systems integration support, marking and registration support, IUID policy and guidance support, change management support, business process improvement support and program management support for the IUID Part Marking Project.
  • Provide policy and guidance support to include draft and review of all applicable AF, AFMC, and DOD policy for IUID.
  • Provide IUID policy and guidance support for applicable AF publications.
  • Provide functional and procedural IUID policy and guidance support which includes but not limited to: engineering, maintenance (all levels), materiel management, contracting, and distribution.
  • Provide planning support for Supply Class II, VII and IX IUID implementation activities, including but is not limited to: scheduling, coordinating with stakeholders, facilitating meetings, taking meeting minutes, and developing other planning documentation.
  • Support the creation and sustainment of IUID project related documentation, including but not limited to: CONOPs, strategies, schedules, briefings, reports and white papers.
  • Provide marking implementation management and sustainment support for the Supply Class II, VII and IX IUID implementation initiative, via developing tools and processes to support this marking initiative.
  • Provide training, to include developing training documentation, providing in-person and/or virtual training to stakeholders, to include familiarization and providing hands-on training with registering assets in the DoD Registry.
  • Perform control activities that includes but is not limited to: schedule monitoring, progress monitoring, fielding questions from stakeholders, and risk management.
  • Develop and provide monthly progress updates to the government leads and submit as part of the Monthly Status Report (CDRL A001).
  • Perform part marking industry research, monitor and assess Air Force part marking needs, and offer other purchase support for part marking equipment or modifications.
  • Perform control activities that include, but are not limited to: progress monitoring, fielding questions from stakeholders, and risk management activities.
  • Develop and maintain tools and processes that assess the Air Force part marking requirements at the source of repair to include the identification of supply/repair process touch-points where Automatic Identification Technology hardware and software can be placed to streamline performance and increase capability.
  • Provide stakeholder outreach support. This task includes, but is not limited to: site visits, providing stakeholder informational briefings, meeting facilitation, and coordinating project activities with previously identified and new stakeholders.
  • Provide knowledge and familiarity with Triad, the AF primary depot part-marking software application.
  • Provide knowledge and familiarity with the AF Automated Inventory Management Tool and Enterprise Data Collection Layer.
  • Through outreach support, collect, disseminate and report any functional issue or program level requirement to the government leads.

 

Job Requirementstop

  • Secret Clearance Required
  • Master’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience is required
    • Bachelor’s degree and additional experience may be considered
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience in implementing IUID on Air Force or on DoD Class II, VII and IX items
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience executing "seek-and-mark" IUID projects AF-wide or direct comparable DoD experience and "opportunistic" IUID depot marking projects in the AF or direct comparable DoD experience. Note:  An Opportunistic IUID marking strategy is currently used by the AF to mark Class IX assets.
  • Must have at least five years of experience in, and working knowledge of, an Air Force (AF) program office or an AF program acquiring, fielding, and sustaining weapons and/or support systems.
  • Must have the experience and capability to support the specialty-assigned tasks and lead senior, journeyman and junior level support personnel.
  • Must be capable of initiating, supervising and/or developing requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion relevant to all tasks that relate to the functional discipline and specialty required.
  • Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and be proficient in MS Office products.
