Credence Management Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support our Integrated Broadcast System (IBS) at Robins AFB, GA. Engineers  will provide senior level engineering advisory and assist guidance, analysis, technical evaluations, and management of high level day-to-day technical engineering operations for the systems that support the  programmatic, acquisition, and IT responsibilities in support of the C2ISR USAF Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS), Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS), Special Projects (SP), Joint Surveillance and Target Attack Radar Systems (JSTARS) for the C2ISR Division, Enterprise, Engineering, Branch and Program level projects.  These positions will support the government customer in an Advisory and Assistance (A&AS) role to the IPT based on an understanding of the C2ISR USAF.

  • Position requires a strong working knowledge of systems engineering foundations of computer science, including IT computer system architecture and system software organization, the representation and transformation of information structures, and the theoretical models for such representations and transformations to the AF architecture.
  • Technical Evaluations as required on the theoretical foundations of systems engineering, including system architecture and system software organization, the representation and transformation of information structures, and the theoretical models for such representations and transformations to the architecture.
  • Must have working knowledge of how to support an Integrated Product Team (IPT) by providing information on the design characteristics, limitations, and potential applications of systems having the ability to transform information, and of broad areas of applications of computing which have common and differing structures, processes, and techniques.
  • Apply knowledge of models of systems engineering performance measures, systems architecture types, and levels of representation to recommend way forward for IPT decisions.
  • Support the IPT by providing information on the system engineering design characteristics, limitations, and potential applications of systems having the ability to transform information, and of broad areas of applications of computing which have common and differing structures, processes, and techniques.
  • Ideal candidate must have proven knowledge of models of computation, performance measures, systems architecture types, and levels of representation to recommend way forward for IPT decisions as well as be able to analyze technical documents for compliance with objectives and thresholds; articulate findings and recommend remedies or alternatives.
  • Provide and critique applicable technical documents for senior audiences such as, but not limited to, Program Executive Officers, Chief Information Officer, Chief Architect, and Chief Systems Engineers, for all Configuration Control Boards (CCB), and potentially Engineering Control Boards (ECB).
  • Special consideration given to candidates with Voice over IP (VolIP) technology, IT Service Oriented Architecture Design expertise, Enterprise Computer Architecture Design through a thorough understanding of Computer, Network and Information Security practices (ICD 503/DoD 8570,  provide  compliant engineering acquisition documentation, preparation, review and editing, technical evaluations, (Market Research Technical Requirement Documents, Design Review Specifications, and Technical Data Packages), provide SEAT support, and Technical coordination with the C2ISR Program Integration Office (PIO), ACAT Lead, PMs/SEs, AF DCGS Engineering Functional Leads (Security, Test CM, DM, IT Asset Management, ISEC and DGS-X) and others as directed.
  • This position requires strong team organization skills as well as excellent communication both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.

  • Top Secret with eligibility for SCI required
  • BS in Engineering, Electrical, Systems, Aero, preferred, but strong consideration will be given to, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, IT or Computer Science degrees based on project experience.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering foundations of computer science, including IT computer system architecture and system software organization, the representation and transformation of information structures, and the theoretical models for such representations and transformations to the AF architecture.
  • Technical Evaluations as required on the theoretical foundations of systems engineering, including system architecture and system software organization, the representation and transformation of information structures, and the theoretical models for such representations and transformations to the architecture.
  • Candidates must be able to brief to top government leadership, have excellent written and verbal communication skill sets.
  • Willingness to travel, if required.
  • Agile, ITIL and Scrum Master experience desired.
