Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking Chief Engineer Course Instructor to teach course material related to Chief Engineers and Lead System Engineers for USAF acquisition programs in support of the Air Force Institute of Technology School of Systems and Logistics (AFIT/LS) directorate.  Credence desires to obtain support services for the AFIT/LS Dean, faculty, support staff, managers, and supervisors to execute the USAF Professional Continuing Education (PCE) and consulting missions.  Candidate shall assist AFIT/LS in the development, maintenance and the instructor of program initiatives for current and future chief engineers and lead system engineers’ academic programs and project tasks to support the broad programs within AFIT/LS.




  • The contractor will deliver courseware in specific subject matters in both live and distance learning environments.
  • The contractor will be responsible for developing, maintaining and teach course material related to Chief Engineers and Lead System Engineers for USAF acquisition programs.  This includes coordinating course offerings at various locations; documenting courses in accordance with Air Force and AFIT policies; and conducting post-offering assessments.
  • The contractor will be required to interact with various course sponsors to interpret education needs to develop, maintain, and instruct systems engineering related content appropriately. 
  • The contractor will instruct in various settings which may include traditional classroom settings and distance learning and may be required to travel to different sites to instruct. 
  • The contractor may also participate in consultation efforts, and attend or participate in workshops, conferences, technical interchanges or similar venues as approved by the government on a case-by-case basis.
  • The contractor will communicate and train faculty and staff on processes; document how all management support functions are maintained and update all related websites (e.g. the AFIT website).

Job Requirementstop

  • Secret clearance required
  • Master’s degree (preferred), Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Systems Engineering or other related Engineering Discipline is required.  
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of DoD and Air Force acquisition policies and guides
  • Knowledge of DoD and Air Force system engineering processes, procedures, and techniques
  • Experience as a Chief Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer, or equivalent in an Air Force program office within the last five years
  • Ability to perform effective oral and written communication to students in a classroom, teaching environment
