Performance Health is seeking a Planner/Buyer to join our team. The Planner/Buyer is a skilled business professional. Their primary responsibility is to configure the Supply Chain for a complex set of products. They will buy products from our Vendors and Contract Manufacturers and manage their component needs. Integral member of cross functional supply chain projects.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Manages rate and parameters for the manufacturing of products (systems configuration)
Calculates Min/Max inv limits (at the LC s)
Analyzes supply chain for trends monitor macro-level reports to determine health of the supply chain systems and make adjustments to reconfigure as needed
Identifies Service Levels and takes appropriate action to assure service level targets are achieved
Monitors inventory levels and identifies excess and slow moving inventory and take appropriate action to assure inventory objectives are achieved
Manages vendor service levels
Escalates issues for resolution
Manages deployment Vendor to CM; CM to LC; or DFS
Maintains master data accuracy and assures they are continually optimized
Understands, demonstrates, and contributes to improving Standard Work
Integral member of cross functional/cross supply chain projects
Expected to be initiator and key contributor to planning process improvements and Standard Work
Actively review and manage Lead Times
Actively review and manage all Purchase Orders
Manages raw material component inventory
Meet regularly with Marketing, Sales, Purchasing to review programs, metrics, forecasts, etc.
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned


Job Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience and education
3-5 years of planning/purchasing function or equivalent education and experience
Ability to analyze raw pieces of information, draw conclusions and formulate a plan to maximize resources within given contraints
Good oral and written communication skills
Excellent Exel, other MS Office, and MRP systems capabilities
Strong math skills
Working knowledge of process improvement tools and techniques (lean, 6 sigma etc.)
Good organizational, decision making and analytical skills
Experience with Tier 1 ERP systems and technology
Experience in an Operations/Manufacturing environment
Experience in a Distribution/Logistics environment
APICS Certification a plus
