Performance Health is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Manager to join our team in Akron, OH. The Sr. Sourcing Manager, Commodities will be responsible for planning and executing the strategic sourcing plan, in support of the company's growth objectives. The objectives will include costs, quality, and delivery targets.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic sources complex contract and pricing negotiations and supplier development and relationship building
Analyzes spend and costs within commodity areas and identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality/delivery improvement. Directs, develops and maintains commodity strategies within the assign commodity.
Tracks, analyzing and publishing market trends on key commodities
Conducts industry analysis, negotiations, commercial agreements, competitive inquiry, supplier analysis
Ensures purchasing group is meeting organizational goals and objectives
Implements multi-year strategic alliances with suppliers to leverage company-wide volume, reducing the number of vendors to an optimum number
Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
10+ years of sourcing and commodity management experience
Professional certification as C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager), CPSM (Certified Professional Supply Manager), CPIM (Certified in production and Inventory Management or equivalent required
Proficiency with analysis/reporting tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills at all levels of organization
Excellent data and process analysis skills
Exhibited proficiency in self-management skills
Proven ability to gather and interpret complex quantitative or qualitative data
Proficiency in quickly transforming data into information suitable for executive decision making
Strong problem solving capability; able to develop detailed requirements, action plans, analysis approach or processes within a predetermined set of boundary conditions
Demonstrated capability to contribute to driving organizational change
Solid leadership, relationship management and negotiation capabilities
Demonstrated commitment to delivering results and exhibiting resiliency in times of failure.
Adaptable to changes in work environment (e.g., role w/in team, work assignments, reporting relationships, etc.). ‚
FDA and ISO experience preferred
Advanced business degree preferred ‚ ‚ ‚
