The Enterprise Planning Group is seeking a Project Manager to work closely with key finance stakeholders, technology business partners and other key boundary partners to manage the successful delivery of a financial business process advancement and software implementation project. This individual will be responsible for driving the project and ensuring all workstreams are delivered with all capabilities as expected on-time and within budget.

This is a highly visible cross-divisional project that collaborates across many different stakeholders and functional areas. This role requires a motivated candidate who is comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.

  • Support the Program Leader in achieving the strategic outcome of the project vision
  • Translate business objectives into project workstreams with clearly defined scope, objectives, timing, deliverables, resources, and key measures of success
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key partners to understand business needs, ensure alignment on objectives, and ensure ongoing buy-in across all project activities
  • Manage workstream implementations using standard project management processes and tools (project plans, issues logs, etc.)
  • Identify, manage and recommend resolutions to complex delivery and project risk related issues
  • Embed relevant communication and change management best practices into all deliverables
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and document meetings and report status to continuously move project forward
  • Direct and coordinate project team efforts to deliver on-time and with quality – includes developers, business SMEs, communications and change management specialists
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills including standard project management processes and tools (project plans, issues logs, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and project phases from planning to maintenance
  • Ability to fFacilitate meetings and drive project issues through to resolution
  • Strong communication skills – effectively operate and influence across functional groups in a matrixed organization
  • Communicate and present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and proactively develop solutions with minimal guidance
  • Highly organized with high sense of ownership, excellent follow-through, and a strong bias for action


  • BA/BS in related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management including delivering medium and large finance software implementations
  • Experience developing project plans, influencing for results, driving resolution to open items, developing risk mitigation plans, tracking progress/ impediments/ dependencies
  • Ability to manage multiple cross functional workstreams with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced workload independently and add value to multiple project workstreams simultaneously
  • Good business acumen and ability to negotiate with business partners
  • Intermediate to advanced skills within the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project)
  • Working knowledge of Finance/ Accounting principles, systems, processes, and best practices preferred
