The Senior Program Manager Global Learning Executive sets the strategy for programs, oversees the design, and implements and manages learning and development programs for Global Learning. The Senior Program Manager Global Learning Executive ensures solutions are aligned with Cox Automotive global business strategies and change initiatives. The Senior Program Manager Global Learning Executive also provides a range of expert consultancy services to management and executives for creating and sustaining a learning and development culture.

The Senior Program Manager Global Learning Executive position is based in the United States and will report to the Director, Global Learning.

Program Management

  • Program Oversight – Oversees the instructional process across assigned programs, evaluating the quality of programs and curriculum on an ongoing basis.
  • Project Management – Coordinates and drives the plan for learning programs. Takes ownership of assigned projects, documents program plans, reports results in a timely manner, and drives timely completion for every milestone.
  • Communications – Manages the marketing and communications for assigned programs. Communicating regularly with program stakeholders, Learning Solutions management, and others as required.
  • Documentation – Ensures the proper documentation for all programs.

Responsibilities

  • Advise, develop, and implement comprehensive learning and development strategies that are aligned with the business strategy; apply business scrutiny as to what to develop in-house versus purchase.
  • Apply psychology, organizational behaviors and knowledge of adult learning to create and facilitate, manage learning and development programs.
  • In conjunction with the greater Learning evaluation strategy, design and implement a measurement strategy to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of programs, adjust as necessary to meet and exceed industry benchmark data, and tell the story around impact from user experiences.
  • Partner effectively to develop and deploy communication and branding strategies to enhance awareness and share relevant metrics, program impacts and stories that support the overall purpose and ROI for learning development programs,
  • Scope learning and development projects, including number and level of resources, duration, and budget, and manage Statement of Work and projects on time and on budget to meet business objectives and quality measures.
  • Develop strong business relationships with external resources as identified by leadership. Providing organizational context, facilitating the implementation of these projects, and ensuring that follow-up effectiveness assessments are conducted.
  • Ability to analyze data to drive decision making and provide business leaders with recommendations for performance solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree (adult education, training, HR, or related degree) with a minimum of 7 years successful learning experience; 3 years of program management; or an equivalent combination of education and work- related experience. Masters preferred.
  • Experience in adult learning principles, technology, and e-learning.
  • Build strong relationships that foster a trusting, inclusive and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to influence and build consensus/alignment at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Experience in the Learning & Development area with demonstrated success in building learning and development strategy that is scalable.
  • Ability to partner and collaborate with all levels of leadership.
  • Detailed, organized, and systematic.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the design, creation and delivery of a full variety of learning and development programs at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, shared services environment preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
