Responsible for working with business partners, stakeholders and other team members to identify and understand highly complex business requirements and processes for implementation, delivery and support of a software asset management (SAM) solution. The individual will lead process and data definition and design activities, including the planning, creating, coordination and execution of functional specifications in support of the SAM program.

Technology We Use:
  • Excel, Microsoft Access, and mainstream office applications
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
  • Acts as a liaison between the software asset management (SAM), vendor management and other functional teams to document requirements and operational processes in support of SAM program
  • Assist in the establishment of the software asset management (SAM) technical standards/best practices
  • Create functional and non-functional specifications as well as other deliverables related to assigned project(s)
  • Work with Infrastructure Architects to develop and operationalize organization model and taxonomy in support of SAM program
  • Work with SAM team to define software configuration attributes required for systems integration and asset discovery
  • Identify gaps and develop data mapping between SAM tool and Contract/Procurement systems for process improvements
  • Perform regular data analysis on large data sets as required
  • Develop processes to ensure data integrity for reporting
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Develop operational processes and policies in support of the SAM program


Required Experience (minimum):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or comparable work experience
  • Minimum 3 years relevant technical and business process experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel and mainstream office applications
