Job Description:

The Merrill Lynch Investment Advisory Program (IAP) team is seeking creative and driven Digital Engagement Lead to assist in developing and leading IAP digital strategy.

The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker with an understanding of digital innovation and trends, ideally in the financial services industry. You’ll be creative, resourceful, enthusiastic and a highly motivated self-starter with an ability to own and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a high paced environment. In addition to digital and investments experience, the role requires an individual with a collaborative mindset, planning and execution skills, and ideally project management expertise. The successful candidate will partner with IAP platform development, the firm’s Digital team, marketing, control partners, and other business lines in our investment services continuum.

Responsibilities:

  •   Ability to study and understand the competitive landscape and identify specific opportunities for innovation and drive new ideas
  •   Assist in shape IAP digital strategy for Advisor and client engagement
  •   Superb attention to detail
  •   Intensely focus on the advisor and client experience
  •   Defining and executing business requirements for project initiatives
  •   Assist with and/or lead other special projects that come up throughout the year

Required Skills:

  • 5-10 years of experience in financial services or wealth management roles, and ideally with experience with digital solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Project management expertise desired
  • Experience with writing technology requirements
  • Ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced environment where progress on multiple high priority projects is required simultaneously
  • Ability to work across all ranks of our organization to drive consensus, with a primary focus on the client experience
  • Participate in requirements elaboration and design sessions with technology partner
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required
  • FINRA licenses 7 & 66, or able to obtain within 120 days
