LOB Overview:

This role is part of the GT&O Third Party organization which manages Third Party Risk Governance and Performance Management. It has oversight and execution of the Third Party program within GT&O covering approximately 1,500 “Owned” Vendors (90 Enterprise Critical  Vendors,  490 High Risk Vendors and 920 Low Risk Vendors).  Organization also manages Enterprise-wide Software License Compliance Reporting & Adherence to remediation.

Role Overview:

The TPPE is responsible for the leadership of the enterprise vendor managers/vendor managers (“E/VM”)/ Partner Managers (“PM”), in support of the LOB Third Party Executive’s accountabilities, and thus accountable for compliant execution of the applicable Third Party Program requirements for their assigned portfolio of third parties. They also direct the Process Owner on VM Process and Partner Standard requirements and works with E/VMs and PMs to manage Third Party risk throughout the applicable lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People management of Mangers of Vendor Managers (MoEVM), EVMs & VMs, driving alignment of staff to Professional VM Profile
  • Work cross organization to understand all processes Vendors may Impact
  • Ensure third party risk is effectively managed and remediated across their third party portfolio
  • Ensure quality of risk and action management; oversight of risk and remediation at the portfolio level
  • Ensure  adherence to the Third Party Process (Green FLU/CF Program execution score)
  • All third party performance, risks and issues have action plans, are monitored and escalated through FLU/Global Procurement routines and are closed within their committed remediation dates
  • Maintain portfolio of Third Party Program testing results at green threshold
  • Represent the organization’s third party activities during internal (Audit) and external (regulator) exams
  • Re-enforce Program and procurement strategy adherence for Engagements through review and approval of applicable Plan Phase Summary

Role Qualifications

  • Strong Risk management experience. Third Party / Vendor experience preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of Technology process, either experience working in technology or as  supporting technology organization (Technology infrastructure preferred)
  • Experience leading organizations, driving results and operational excellence.
