Job Description:

Seeking a dynamic, End-to-End Execution Leader that will be accountable for delivering key Technology Initiatives spanning our Treasury- Strategic Asset & Liability Management, Global Liquidity Management, and Treasury Finance groups. Initiative will require working directly with our business, data management, and technology teams to deliver on regulatory commitments and/or expanding existing capabilities (FAS133 hedging, funding trade execution, global liquidity reporting). Experience in a large financial institution required and strong understanding of traded products and or processes will be highly valuable (notables include: Derivatives, Securities/Bonds, Repos, Money Markets, General Ledger processes, Collateral Management processes, etc.)

Responsible for E2E Execution of Initiative Program w/ activities including:

  • Leads major projects, programs or processes with significant business impact involving cross-functional teams
  • Individual Project coverage spans a multi-million dollar portfolio.
  • Delivery accountabilities are E2E spanning all support groups. Provides comprehensive solutions to complex problems or needs
  • Role responsible for providing/ overseeing comprehensive solutions to complex problems or needs
  • Provide overall project direction consistent with the objectives and scope including People, Process, and Technology
  • Influences strategic direction and develops tactical plans
  • Works directly with Executive leaders on delivery and communication of progress/ risks across portfolio
  • Possesses functional knowledge of Liquidity Management/ Treasury/ Global Funding space.

Additional accountabilities/ role requirements include:

  • Responsible for enterprise and/or line of business-wide, cross functional, high impact strategic initiatives by ensuring delivery of business outcomes from portfolio investments.
  • Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes.
  • Responsibility for large, cross division budgets.
  • May serve as primary contact to Executive management for critical change initiatives depending on scope and impact of business supporting.
  • Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources.
  • Assists in achieving broad goals supporting corporate business strategy. Responsible for results delivery, risk management and strategy development.
  • Experience with managing large diverse programs and projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of project/portfolio management experience
  • Experience in financial markets/ strong financial product knowledge
  • Experience with PMO and Portfolio management and reporting
  • Experience with project and program status
  • Work experience with Agile methodology
  • Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Detailed Bank of America professional experience in a financial markets environment
  • Background in: Treasury, Finance, Fixed Income, Balance sheet, Corporate investments, Capital, liquidity global, Global funding, Inter-day funding or Quantitative finance
  • Experience with BofA enterprise change adherence
  • Multi-Generational/ strategic planning

This role can be filled as a Portfolio Manager or Project Manager based on skills and experience.
