Job Description:

Position Summary:

The senior .NET developer will be responsible for design, analysis, development, and execution of shared solutions in Managed Solutions Group - Supervision. The candidate will also participate and work in roadmap initiatives like  SDM transformation/ SDLC onboarding & simplified adoption and onboard to Security Patterns and Services. The candidate will help develop, support, maintain and test  Client-Server and N-tier Architectures software applications for a specific business unit or supporting function. The candidate will work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide technical direction for specific initiatives and projects. Will have opportunity to collaborate with other programmers and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of the software application.

 

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of strong experience especially in C#, MVC, WCF, Angular, ASP.net, WebAPI & REST API.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills as demonstrated by 7+ years of experience

• Participates as an individual contributor and/or lead projects, completing activities as a part of a team related to special initiatives or operations.

• Should be able to assist other developers and ensure high quality of deliverables.

• Experience in designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging new application and enhancements to existing software product.

• Experience with MVC 4.0/5.0.

• Experience with WCF Web Services, preferably Restful Web services.

• Strong experience in Object Oriented design and development.

• Experience with .NET Framework 4.0/4.5/4.7.

• Experience using modern development methodology including Agile and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, GIT etc.

• Solid understanding of API’s, abstractions, and message/socket level development.

• Excellent understanding of the HTTP protocol and web services.

• Identifying, documenting, and closing out bugs.

 

Desired Skills:

• Will work with minimal supervision and guidance from more seasoned associates, and may also be expected to provide application support.

• Build the Framework and Solution technology capabilities that support I&BST vision of the target state.

• Enable all teams and roles in the SDLC to leverage a standard set of solutions rather than building all components from the ground up.

• Responsible for development, enhancement, testing, support, maintain and troubleshoot/ debug software applications that support business units or support functions.

• Requires an in-depth knowledge of software development life cycle utilizing Web based Technologies.
