Job Description:

Provider of coaching solutions for improving and sustaining superior quality:

-Analyze credit quality and compliance defects to identify tall bars, and root causes.

-Create, maintain, and deploy coaching materials to enhance associates skill set and close knowledge gaps.

-Facilitate hands on coaching and execute against action plans to drive policy adherence that enables compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

-Collaborate and consult with Underwriting, Fulfillment and Sales regarding arbitration opportunities for decisions and problem resolution on in process loans and loan scenarios questions.

-Collaborate with Credit Policy, Quality & Remediation, and Client UW organizations to, influence change, drive performance and address policy clarification/changes and escalations.

-Assist with the communication and roll out of key changes in support of credit/quality/compliance projects and initiatives.

-Champions the consistent execution of credit decisioning, use of judgmental underwriting, minimizes variation and identifies opportunities to increase uniformity in credit and manufacturing quality in support of customer delight:

-Revew files with peer sales coach that are escalated to identify solutions and provide immediate hands on coaching and feedback.

-Develop and facilitate or partner with training teams to develop and facilitate refresher training/clinics .

-Provide policy and process SME Support on various projects and initiatives that directly impact credit quality


Strong Mortgage lending background with knowledge of both policy and procedures

-Prior lending experience in Conventional, FHA and VA (7+ years experience preferred)

-Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form

-Excellent facilitation skills

-Self starter

-SASE Certified minimum level 6

-Project Management and Time Management skills

-Exhibits teamwork and fosters collaboration among team members and business partners

-Ability to effectively develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, peers and team members

-Familiar with internal fulfillment origination and processing systems for First Mortgage

-Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

-Previous training experience
