Business Overview

  • The Wholesale Credit strategy is a multi-generational transformation that will simplify and improve the processes and technology used to manage and deliver the credit relationship for wholesale clients. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for implementing the Wholesale Credit strategy and will participate in various large scale technology transformations. Knowledge of one or more facets of the end to end credit process is desirable.

Role Overview

  • The Platform Consultant assists with developing and implementing business strategy through platform development initiatives from idea creation through deployment including identifying customer need, designing and validating concepts, developing business cases, assisting with vendor negotiations and relationships, partnering with technology to analyze and write Business and Functional Requirements documentation, managing to a budget SME in coordinating and developing communications with Marketing and Training, coordinating business and Beta testers, and implementing deliverables. They are also responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of systems and operations processes for platform supported. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining subject matter expertise for platform functionality and resolving chronic service delivery or platform issues identified by client service/support organizations. Works closely with Program Owners, Business Channel leaders, SMEs, Technology, Operations, Client Services, Legal, Compliance Risk, and external suppliers/vendors.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with senior members of the team to drive specific initiatives within the Wholesale Credit strategy
  • Assist with the development and execution of strategic roadmaps for delivering various Business capabilities
  • Collaborate with support partners in Technology and Operations to complete data mapping, testing, and various other project deliverables

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience partnering with Technology to deliver platform solutions
  • Experience leading end to end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for medium to large / complex software solutions
  • Experience gathering requirements and writing Stories and Acceptance Criteria
  • Interest in FinTech
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confidence and ability to distill complex subject matter into concise summaries and recommendations
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to challenge status quo
  • Insight to identify gaps and execution risks and escalate as appropriate
  • Adaptable and detail oriented
  • Self-starter who is comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of the end to end credit process
  • Experience contributing to Agile Iteration Planning (IP)
  • Experience leading Production Validation for all major and minor Releases
  • Skilled with SharePoint, HP-ALM, JIRA, and Pivot Table
  • Demonstrates commitment to excellence by anticipating needs, identifying and mitigating risks and minimizing potential problems
