Job Description:

Essential Functions:

The individual will be responsible for supporting large complex transactions for assigned Senior Leasing Specialists, including marketing research, pricing runs, residual requests, deal qualification, DSR’s, proposal letters and other sales related activities. Position is also responsible for handling all aspects of a client relationship and end to end processes for smaller transactions below $5MM. Provide support to Managing Director, MWC (Midwest Central Region) in respect to sales team performance tracking and business review reporting. Additional responsibilities include the assisting in all aspects of a client relationship and support the sales team at designated industry events.

This position is posted as a Sr Leasing Transaction Manager, but is flexible to be filled as a Leasing Transaction Manager based on the skill set/experience of the candidate.

Required Education:

Undergraduate Degree – Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or other Business concentration preferred

Prior Work Experience:

7+ years Leasing, Business Aviation or Commercial Banking experience

Required Skills & Development Expectations:

  • Exceptional client relationship skills, fundamental financial product knowledge, technical expertise, ability to draft/negotiate documentation and solid execution skills
  • Exhibit teamwork; capable of working independently as well as working with a designated deal and/or client team
  • Proven transaction management skills; ability to handle multiple activities with cross-functional groups for end-to-end deal process
  • Analytical skills – process orientation. Solid understanding of typical business flows of a commercial financial institution – preferably finance company or bank with aviation specialty
  • Exceptional communication skills with deal and/or client team
  • Proven sales & negotiation skills with an ability to assess client needs and offer solutions
  • Credit, analytical and financial analysis skills
  • Aviation industry knowledge
  • Working knowledge of aviation research database software and other tools (AMSTAT, JETNET, Vref)
  • Leverages networks internal to the line of business, bank and industry
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills considered an advantage
  • Travel - 25%
