ResponsibilitiesNSA Overview The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal: to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive classified national security information. Enabling Support Specialists assist leadership in specialized areas such as training, manpower, space, visits, property management, security, budgeting, and policy for mission organizations. Description of the Position Enabling Support Specialists play a vital role in: - Providing timely, accurate responses, and assistance within legal, policy and program guidelines. - Recommending improvements to internal procedures and processes while working collaboratively towards implementation. - Serving as a point of contact/liaison between mission and support organizations. - Representing the work unit when meeting with other organizations. - Building and maintaining working relationships and networks with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders. - Working as part of a team. - Experience with Basis of Estimates, analysis, quality assurance, Planning, Programming, Budget Execution (PPBE), Customer Service, Staff Actions, Coordinator, program acquisition support (research, market surveys, site surveys, statements of work, sole source justifications, review/approve invoices), drafts authoritative written presentations, correspondence, reports for senior executive level review/approval
